I was born in Georgetown, S.C. and have lived in North Charleston, S.C. for the past 13 years. In 2013, I began to take nature photography seriously when I won the weekly photo contest in The Post and Courier newspaper. Since then, I have become a beekeeper, bird watcher and nature enthusiast. I have been an accepted artist at the ArtFields competition in 2017 and 2018, the Coastal Carolina Fair Photography Show, where I recently won two honorable mentions, and my second solo show, “A Bug’s Eye View: Macro Photography in the Garden” will be on display at the North Charleston City Gallery December 2019-January 2020.
Recently I have become interested in family portraits, as well as land photography, showcasing properties, and bringing out their beauty and uniqueness.
