I was born in Georgetown, S.C. and have lived in North Charleston, S.C. for the past 15 years. In 2013, I began to take nature photography seriously when I won the weekly photo contest in The Post and Courier newspaper. Since then, I have been a beekeeper, bird watcher and nature enthusiast. I was an accepted artist at the ArtFields competition in 2017 and 2018, the Coastal Carolina Fair Photography Show, where I recently won two honorable mentions, and my second solo show, “A Bug’s Eye View: Macro Photography in the Garden” was in quarantine during 2021 at the Georgetown County Library's Heritage Center.
